Inclusion Criteria

1. The patients of either sex within age group of 20-60 years.

2. All patients with clinical manifestation of Bahupitta Kamala. Irrespective

of Age and sex.

3. The serum bilirubin level >2mg/dl and <20mg/dl will be included.

Exclusion Criteria

1) Age below 20 years and above 60 years.

2) Patients having malignancy suffering from AIDS.

3) Patients with acute alcohol withdrawal state, intoxication, hepatic

encephalopathy.

4) Serum bilirubin more than 20 mg/dl.

5) Pregnant and lactating mother, hyperbilirubinemia due to congenital

causes.

6) Obstructive pathology, liver abscess, liver cirrhosis and HBs Ag positive

patients.
