Brief Summary

The primary and key secondary endpoints, peak AST and peak ALT three days after surgery, were significantly higher in the sevoflurane group than in the propofol group. Although there was significantly different in the operation time between groups, there was no significant difference in the ischemic time may affect postoperative AST and ALT. Therefore, the effect of the difference of operation time on outcomes is considered to be limited. In conclusion, a hepatoprotective effect of propofol is suggested.
