•People with dogs:
•1\) Those who are currently living with at least 1 dog for a minimum of 3 years
•2\) Residing in tier\-1 metropolitan cities in India; Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune
•People without dogs:
•1\) Individuals who have never raised a dog at home
•2\) Residing in tier\-1 metropolitan cities in India; Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune

•People with dogs:
•1\) People with any other type of animals as pets (cats, fish, birds)
•2\) People who have dogs but are not currently raising them/are physically separated from them
•3\) Those who have had dogs in the past and currently donâ??t
•4\) Those who have had a dog for less than 3 years
•5\) Clinical population (those with diagnosed mental health illnesses) are excluded in order to restrict the role of existing mental conditions on the results of the study; individuals who will be screened for high psychological distress
•People without dogs:
•1\) People with any other type of animals as pets (cats, fish, birds)
•2\) People who have dogs but are not currently raising them/are physically separated from them
•3\) Those who have had dogs in the past and currently donâ??t
