: Children from 2 months of age to less than 12 years of age who are diagnosed with acute lower respiratory tract infections with wheeze and whose parents are willing to give consent are included in the study.
Children who are suffering from obvious marasmus or edema, with severe non respiratory tract infections, established chronic lung disease, gastrointestinal disease, congenital malformations, neurological disease, who is accompanied by an unreliable informant, are excluded from the study.
