a) All non-mucinous epithelial ovarian cancer irrespective of their age
b) All first degree and second degree relatives of women diagnosed with
epithelial ovarian cancer and found to have deleterious mutation in BRCA1 or 2
c) If further funding is available: Then testing according to the NCCN guidelines
for Hereditary Breast and Ovarian cancer risk assessment
1. Personal history of breast cancer and �1 of these:
ïâ??· Diagnosed at age ââ?°Â¤45 years
ïâ??· Diagnosed at age ââ?°Â¥50 years with ââ?°Â¥1 close blood relatives with breast cancer at
age 50 years and/or �1 close blood relatives with epithelial ovarian cancer at
any age
ïâ??· 2 breast primaries when first breast cancer diagnosis occurred at age ââ?°Â¤50 years
ïâ??· Diagnosed at age ââ?°Â¤60 years with a triple negative breast cancer
ïâ??· Diagnosed at age ââ?°Â¤50 years with a limited family history
ïâ??· Diagnosed at any age with ââ?°Â¥2 close blood relatives with pancreatic cancer at
any age
Close male blood relative with breast cancer
Individual of ethnicity associated with higher mutation frequency (e.g.,
Ashkenazi Jewish)
Personal history of epithelial ovarian cancer
ïâ??· Personal history of male breast cancer
Personal history of pancreatic cancer at any age with �2 close blood relatives
with breast and/or ovarian cancer and/or pancreatic cancer at any age
2. No personal history of breast cancer, but �1 of these:
ïâ??· First- or second-degree blood relative meeting any of the above criteria
Third-degree blood relative with breast cancer and/or ovarian cancer with �2
close blood relatives with breast cancer (�1 with breast cancer at age �50
years) and/or ovarian cancer
Any patient who does not meet the inclusion criteria
