Inclusion Criteria
1) patients aged 18 years or older 2) with diagnosis of biliary colic and 3) ASA class I or II , who were 4) candidate for Laparoscopic cholecystectomy admitted in Shariati hospital, Tehran
Exclusion criteria: 1) Cases of acute cholecystitis, 2) concurrent inflammatoary condition like acute pancreatitis, 3) uncured malignancy, 4) major intraoperative or postoperative complications and 5) severe systemic disease (ASA class three or greater)

Name Time Method Blood cortisol. Timepoint: preoperatively, 6 and 24 hours postoperatively. Method of measurement: laboratory based on mg/dl.;CRP.
