Study of electrocardiogram in Long QT syndrome patients

ong QT syndrome (LQTS) is a hereditary arrhythmia disease. It causes disturbances to the ion flow through cell membranes of cardiomyocytes. These disturbances can sometimes seen in an electrocardiogram (ECG) or 24 hour Holter ECG. LQTS predisposes to cardiac arrhythmia.
