Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients \> 50 yr of age
  • \>18years Patients \<50 years of age with one or more associated co morbidities like DM, hypertension, chronic renal disease etc

Exclusion Criteria

  • Any patient who is unable to exercise
  • Patients with hepatopulmonary syndrome
  • Patient not willing to undergo CPEX
  • Surgery is cancelled for any reason
  • Patients who are not able to reach Anaerobic Threshold during CPEX
  • The patient suffers any of the following within 3 months before Pre\-anaesthesia Assessment
  • oMyocardial infarction
  • oCerebrovascular event
  • oTransient ischaemic attack
  • oPulmonary embolic event
