Male and Female patients with age greater than 18 years with potentially malignant lesions like( Erosive Variant of lichen planus, leukoplakia, erythroplakia, Oral Submucous Fibrosis) and Oral malignancies.
Patients who agree to participate in the study
Inclusion criteria for control- age and gender matched non habituated, otherwise healthy individuals visiting dental opd clinics for dental problems, with healthy oral mucosa.
Patients with any chronic systemic diseases like Diabetes Mellitus, inflammatory bwel disease or autoimmune disorders like arthritis will not be included for the study
Patients who are on drugs like corticosteroids which can alter the level of CRP will be excluded from the study
