Inclusion Criteria
age above 50 years old; knee pain in most days of the previous month; osteophites in x-ray; pain in standing from sitting or up stair.
Exclusion criteria: physiotherapy and knee surgery in previous 12 months; lower limb arthroplasty; interarticular injection in previous 6 months; systemic arthritis; skin disorders or week skin; previous side effect of patellar tapping; BMI more than 36 because of problem in technique.
