Inclusion Criteria

1. Women with common mental disorders visiting the perinatal clinic at NIMHANS

2. New onset or exacerbation of mental illness during pregnancy or postpartum

3. Women who consent and are willing to participate in the study

4. Women between the age of 18-35 years

5. Women who speak Hindi, English and Kannada

Exclusion Criteria

1. Women with perinatal mental illness secondary to comorbid medical or neurological conditions, Mental retardation, or Organic psychiatric illness.
