Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • All patients with BMI more than or equal to 30kg/m2 and newly diagnosed moderate to severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea by Level I Polysomnography (Philips Respironics USA) in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine and advised positive airway pressure therapy will be recruited for the study after obtaining informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients not willing to participate in study
  • Patients with severe orthopaedic or neurological disorders limiting their mobility
  • Severe pulmonary arterial hypertension
  • Exercise\-induced syncope
  • Unstable angina or recent Myocardial infarction
  • Refractory fatigue
  • Inability to learn, psychiatric instability and disruptive behaviour.
  • Active infection
