Atrophic acne scars over the face which includes rolling scars(U shaped) & boxcar (M shaped) scars.
1.Age less than 18 years and more than 40 years.
2.Ice picks scars.
3. Pregnant and lactating women.
4.Active acne in adjacent region.
5.Coexisting inflammation in adjacent skin secondary to dermatological diseases such as psoriasis, lichen planus, eczemas, acne.
6.keloidal tendency.
7.On isotretinoin for last 6 months to 1 year.
8.Patients with unrealistic expectations or psychiatric illnesses.
9.Pre existing bleeding disorder, renal or hepatic diseases.
