Type 1 diabetes mellitus patients which HbA1C > 7% have been treated at Siriraj hospital
Control group is healthy patients who have age matched with type 1 diabetes mellitus patients
1. Patient who have been periodontitis as a manifestation of systemic diseases such as Leukocyte adhesion deficiency, Ehler danlos syndrome, neutropenia, Down sysdrome, Papillon Lefvere sysdrome, Chediak Higashi sysdrome, Histiocytosis sysdrome, Glycogen storage disease, Infantile genetic agranulocytosis, Cohen syndrome, Hyphosphatasia, and leukemia
2. Immunodeficiency patients
3. Patients who cannot cooperate due to a lack of psychological or emotional maturity and/or mental physical or medical disability
4. Patients who take medication that effecting periodontium, bleeding disorder, and infection
5. Patients who recieved bisphosphonate
6. Patients who recieved orthodontics treatment
7. Smkoing
8. Pregnant
9. Patients who have deciduous teeth
10. Patients who recieved periodontal treatment within 6 months
