1. Age 18-60 years.
2. No experience of Yoga Nidra (novices).
3. Those educated at least up to 10th standard (matric equivalent).
4. Willing to give informed consent.
5. Basic knowledge of English language.
1. Major Depression as assessed by Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9).
2. Suffering from clinical mental health disorder or taking medication for the same (self-reported).
3. Female participants during menstruation.
4. Poor sleep quality (scores from 6 to 15) as assessed by the Brief Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (B-PSQI).

Name Time Method 1. To assess and compare the electro-encephalographic spectral analysis, HRV, GSR, respiration rate, PPG, EMG, ECG, blood pressure & and heart rate during practicing 20 minutes or 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra and a comparable control condition in novices. <br/ ><br>2. To evaluate and compare the acute effects of Yoga Nidra and a comparable control condition on executive functioning in novices. <br/ ><br>3. To correlate the effects of Yoga Nidra as observed from EEG data analysis with subjective reports of participants.Timepoint: Pre and Post session
