Patients undergoing radioactive iodine therapy at low dose for hyperthyroidism and moderate, high and very high doses in differentiated thyroid carcinoma
Written informed consent
Exclusion Criteria
Known case of hematological malignancies

Name Time Method The pattern of short term adverse effects following low, moderate, high and very high doses of radioactive iodine therapy in hyperthyroidism and DTC. The common short term adverse effects include â?? gastritis, sialadenitis, xerostomia, neck pain, thyroiditis, decreased total peripheral count. The severity of haematological abnormalities assessed by blood routine examination. <br/ ><br>The use of different sialagogues for dry mouth is estimated by questionnaire method. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: One year
