Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •ASA 1 children aged 5\-15 years undergoing elective surgical procedures who have given informed consent prior for the study.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Children who are developmentally abnormal, in view of risk of aspiration.
  • •2\.Children preexisting abnormal anatomy of the upper gastrointestinal tract.
  • •3\.Children diagnosed with gastroesophageal reflux disease.
  • •4\.Children with Body Mass Index \>30
  • •5\.Children diagnosed with gastric obstruction.
  • •6\.Children with previous history of aspiration.
  • •7\.Children with previous history of esophageal/gastric surgery.
  • •8\.Children with history of gastrointestinal bleed within last 6 months
