Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •ASA 1 children aged 5\-15 years undergoing elective surgical procedures who have given informed consent prior for the study.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Children who are developmentally abnormal, in view of risk of aspiration.
- •2\.Children preexisting abnormal anatomy of the upper gastrointestinal tract.
- •3\.Children diagnosed with gastroesophageal reflux disease.
- •4\.Children with Body Mass Index \>30
- •5\.Children diagnosed with gastric obstruction.
- •6\.Children with previous history of aspiration.
- •7\.Children with previous history of esophageal/gastric surgery.
- •8\.Children with history of gastrointestinal bleed within last 6 months
