Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •ESRD patients who receiving regular hemodialysis treatment
- •American Society of Anesthesiologist Physical Status (ASA) Classification III
- •Body Mass Index (BMI) \<40 kg/m2
- •Undergoing elective surgery
Exclusion Criteria
- •Abnormal anatomy of the upper gastrointestinal tract eg. tracheoesophageal fistula, esophageal atresia, esophageal duplications or hiatal hernia
- •Previous esophagus, stomach and upper abdomen surgery eg. gastric bypass, esophagectomy or gastrectomy
- •Gastrointestinal tract obstruction eg. gastric outlet obstruction or duodenal obstruction
- •Intraabdominal infection or inflammation eg. cholangitis, cholecystitis or pancreatitis
- •During total parenteral nutrition feeding
