Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.ASA GRADE 1\&2
- •2\.Age 18to 65years
- •3\.both genders
- •4\.patient undergoing elective and emergency surgery requiring general anesthesia
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.morbid obesity
- •2\.full stomach/non fasted patient
- •3\.hypertensive/IHD/valvular heart disease
- •4\.moderate to severe ascites/hiatus hernia
- •5\.mouth opening \<2cm/oropharyngeal obstruction
- •6\.patient refusal to participate in study
- •7\.patient requiring endotracheal intubation,head neck surgery
- •8\.long duration of surgery or requiring high inspiratory pressure in a poor lung complaince
