Inclusion Criteria
1.Haemoglobin levels 8.0-10.9 g/dL
2.Serum Ferritin < 12 microg/L
3.MCV < 70 micrometer3
4.Weight for age -2SD to +2SD.
Exclusion Criteria
1.Children with chronic medical condition, those requiring frequent blood transfusions, known cases of haemoglobinopathy and obvious intellectual disability.
