1. Patients of either sex in the age group of 18-65 years
2. Established diagnosis of non-ulcer dyspepsia (NUD) with gastrointestinal symptoms
Abdominal pain
Heartburn
Acid regurgitation
Eructation
Nausea and vomiting
Abdominal distention
Restlessness after meals
Belching
Loss of appetite/increased appetite
Early satiety
1. Pregnancy and lactation
2. Subjects with severe cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, renal disease
3. Subjects with palpable abdominal mass
4. Subjects with any other serious concurrent illness or malignancy
5. Subjects with known H. pylori Infection
6. Subjects with Hiatus Hernia
7. Known cases of dysphagia, anaemia/ haematemesis/ melaena
8. Subjects with Diabetes Mellitus
9. Subjects with Inflammatory Bowel Disease; Ulcerative colitis, Crohnâ??s Disease
10. Known cases of Amoebiasis or other Helminthic Diseases
11. Subjects with continuing history of alcohol and / or drug abuse
12. History of long-term medication
