Inclusion Criteria

(1) Age 30-60 years

(2) Both males and females ; BMI 18.5 – 24.9 kg/m2

(3) Individuals with regular waking cervical symptoms (headache, cervical pain and/or stiffness, shoulder or scapular pain)

(4) Confirmed radiologic evidence of cervical spine degeneration which includes anterior osteophyte formation, intervertebral disc height narrowing and/or vertebral end plate sclerosis.

(5) Score of = 3 on the Numerical Pain Rating Scale (NPRS)

(6) Score of = 20% on Neck Disability Index (NDI) Questionnaire

(7) Score of = 5 on Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PQSI) Questionnaire

Exclusion Criteria

(1) Primary or Secondary Spinal canal stenosis

(2) History of recent cervical or cervicothoracic spine trauma, fracture or surgery in the last 6 months.

(3) Presence of any health condition (mental, emotional or physical) which regularly affected sleep quality

(4) Patients who received physical therapy or manipulation because of neck pain in the past 3 months, or used a cervical pillow

(5) Patients undertaking any sleep medications currently
