- Participants have had a first unilateral stroke.
- Participants had a stroke more than 6 months before study enrollment.
- Participants’ age range is between 30 to 70 years old.
- Participants’ scores on miniâ€mental state examination: Thai version (MMSEâ€Thai 2002) should be ≥ 14 who did not study, ≥ 17 who studied primary school, and ≥ 22 who studied higher than primary school.
- Participants that had an intracranial metallic or magnetic pieces (such as skull plates, cochlear implants, an internal pulse generator or medication pumps)
- Participants that had an epilepsy, history or family history of seizures.
- Participants that take any drug that might lower seizure threshold.
- Participants that had a severe psychosis disease.
- Participants that had a progressive neurodegenerative illness (such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson disease).
- Participants that had alcoholism.
- Participants that had a severe heart disease or increased intracranial pressure.
