1. Diagnosis Gastroesophageal reflux disease by symptom for within 3 months
2. Age 18-70 yr
3. Underwent the EGD within 6 months
4. Have a symptom of GERD by clinical heartburn and/or acid regurgitation
5. Diagnosis GERD with under medication trial for 1-2 months before enrollment
1. Hx of abdominal surgery except appendectomy and cesarean section
2.current gastric or liver cancer
3.Inflammatory bowel disease)
4.Irritable bowel syndrome)
5.Chronic constipation or abnormal bowel movement
6.Chronic liver disease/Chronic kidney disease
7.Abnormal finding of Esophagogastroduodenoscopy e.g pyloric stenosis
8.Helicobacter pylori infection
9.Esophageal motility disease; Achalasia, EGJ outflow obstruction, Diffuse esophageal spasm, Jackhammer esophagus, Absent peristalsis
10.Concurrent treatment with medication which may interfere the interpretation e.g. proton pump inhibitors, potassium competitive acid blockers, H2 blockers, prokinetics, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, antispasmodics, prebiotics, probiotics, antibiotics
11.Uncontrolled psychiatry disease
12.No consent
