1) Patients belonging to ASA Grade I and ASA GradeII.
2) Patients scheduled for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anaesthesia with endotracheal intubation.
1) Unwilling patients.
2) Patients with anticipated difficult intubation.
3) Patients with history of known allergy to study drugs.
4) Patients with labile blood pressure, severe renal, endocrine and cardiac dysfunction, heart block.
5) Patients on Beta-blocker drugs.
6) Morbidly obese patients.
7) Patients with history of alcohol/ drug abuse.
8) Pregnant and lactating patients.
