Inclusion Criteria

Inclusion criteria are the following: term pregnancy; one previous cesarean section; low transverse scar on the abdomen ; elective cesarean section with transverse incision on the skin and lower uterine segment: age between 25 to 35 ; spinal anesthesia; tendency of the patient to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria are the following: Emergent cesareans; underlying diseases like liver and kidney dysfunction and impaired hemostasis and … ; history of previous surgery at the surgical site or on the suprapubic site except cesarean section; low midline scar on the abdomen ; Positive history of smoking or drug abuse; drug sensitivity to topical analgesics .
