Inclusion Criteria
1)Children with incompetent lips due to short upper lips with no habitual lip seal and proclined maxillary incisors with an increased overjet in the age range of 8 to 12 years.
2)Presence of mouth breathing due to short upper lip or Anatomic type.
Exclusion Criteria
1)Mentally retarded children with incompetent lips.
2)Children with mouth breathing due to airway obstruction.
