Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1 Pupil size \= 4 mm post pharmacological dilatation as study subjects and a control group with normal pupil size \>4mm
  • 2 All grades of Cataract.
  • 3 Patients willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1 Active iritis in the past 3 months.
  • 2 Current Ocular inflammation.
  • 3 Posterior synechiae \> 1 clock hour.
  • 4 Advanced Glaucoma with macular threat.
  • 5 Specular microscopy count \<2000/mm2\.
  • 6 Subluxated lens / Traumatic cataract.
  • 7 Corneal disorders like corneal opacity, degenerations and dystrophies and congenital anterior segment anomalies.
  • 8 History of Previous retinal surgeries.
  • 9 Posterior segment anomalies affecting the visual acuity.
  • 10 Age \< 18 years
