Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Healthy participants Age more than 40 years
- •Age related Cataract
- •Diagnosed case of Diabetes Mellitus of
- •any duration controlled on oral
- •hypoglycemic agents(OHA) / insulin with random blood sugar \<200mg/dl and
- •HbA1c \< 7%
- •Age more than 40 years
- •Age Related Cataract
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients with complicated cataract surgery
- •Patients with intraocular pressure(IOP) \>21 mmHg
- •Dense cataract in whom SD\-OCT cannot be performed
- •Ocular disease that might affect central macular thickness including
- •1\) Glaucoma
- •2\) Uveitis
- •3\) Age related macular degeneration
- •4\) Patients with other vascular retinopathy like hypertensive retinopathy, retinal vein
- •occlusion and retinal artery occlusion
- •5\) Macular hole
