Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\) patients with angle closure defined by the presence of iridotrabecular contact of at least 180 degrees, which can be either appositional or synechial.
- •2\) patients with visually significant cataract with visual acuity worse than 20/50\.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\) presence or history of any cause of secondary glaucoma, including traumatic glaucoma, uveitic glaucoma, neovascular glaucoma, phacomorphic glaucoma, and pseudoexfoliation glaucoma
- •2\) history of previous intraocular surgery.
