Inclusion Criteria
Patients with age above 18 years, undergoing surgery for hip fracture under neuraxial block.
Exclusion Criteria
Patient refusal.
Any contraindication to neuraxial block like coagulopathy, local infection, increased ICP, spine trauma etc.
Known allergy to local anaesthetic drugs.
Peripheral neuropathy.
Hemodynamically unstable polytrauma patients.
Patients who are ASA 4 and above.

Name Time Method To assess and compare the analgesic efficacy of USG guided pericapsular nerve group (PENG) block with fascia iliaca compartment block (FICB) using VAS score during positioning of hip fracture patients within 30 minutes before neuraxial block.Timepoint: At 10, 20, 30 minutes

Name Time Method To compare the patientâ??s acceptance of the technique.Timepoint: At 24 hour;To compare the postoperative 24-hour analgesic requirement in the two groups. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 24 hour;To compare the quality of positioning in the two groups for neuraxial block which will be assessed by the anaesthesiologistâ??s satisfaction and spinal angle.Timepoint: At 30 minute;To study any complications associated with the block.Timepoint: 24 hour monitoring
