Inclusion Criteria
• Preoperative maximum monosyllabic score>0% or 4FPTA better or equal to 80dB HL
• implanted with CI522/CI622
• preoperative hearing aid experience
• imaging without pathologic findings
• postlingual onset of hearing loss
Exclusion Criteria
• prelingual deafness
• mother tongue not German
• change of rehabilitation center
• incomplete insertion or tip fold-over
• severe mental retardation
• no preoperative hearing aid experience
