入选标准
- •Patient undergoing major abdominal surgery with following
- •1.Age above 18 years
- •2.Both male and female
- •3.American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical Status 1-3
- •4.Undergoing major abdominal surgery (Surgery duration of more than 2 hours)
- •Can give informed consent themselves
排除标准
- •1Patient refusal
- •2Age < 18 years
- •3Patients with a history suggestive of dementia (either listed in the medical record or reported by the patient) or any neurological disorder.
- •4History of alcohol abuse, chronic opioid or other substance abuse
- •5History of cerebral surgeries, stroke
- •6History suggestive of psychiatric disease like schizophrenia, dementia, anxiety, or other disorder affecting cognition, mental dysfunction
- •7 Prescription of the central nervous system â??active medication (e.g.; antidepressants, antipsychotics, sedatives)
