Diagnosed with AA and age 5 to 15 years
Have primarily diffuse type of AA (characterized by widespread reduction of hair
density rather than clearly defined patches of hair loss).
2. Are currently experiencing other forms of alopecia including, but not limited to,
telogen effluvium, chemotherapy-induced hair loss, or any other concomitant
conditions (for example, Down syndrome, tinea capitis, psoriasis, lupus
erythematosus, or secondary syphilis) that would interfere with the evaluation of the
effect of study medication on AA.
