简要总结
This study was included 60 healthy patients with the need of endodontic treatment in their maxillary 1st premolar with periapical index score 3. After irrigation of each canal with 5.2% sodium hypochlorite canals were dried with paper points. ^0 patients were randomly divided into two groups.

Laser Group (n=30): An 810 nm diaode laser activated into canals 1mm short of the working length with 20ms Pulse duration for 15 s followed by 10 s lapse. This procedure was repeated thrice.

Placebo Group (n=30)= Laser tip was not activated.
After that all root canals were obturated followed by post operative restoration with composite.
Then patients were contacted over phone calls and asked about the pain and number analgesic was taken after 24h, 48h and 7d. Pain was scoring by Visual Analogue scale. Statistically Analysed by chi square test.

入选标准
- •60 healthy patients who satisfied the requirements for inclusion were chosen.
- •This study only included patients with a PAI score of 3 and asymptomatic teeth.
- •Radiographic and clinical investigations were conducted in order to get a diagnosis.
排除标准
- •The criteria for exclusion included using antibiotics within the previous month, having systemic disorders, being pregnant or nursing, having traumatic occlusions, having other teeth that need root canal therapy, teeth having root canal fillings, having calcified canals, having root resorption, having periodontal involvement or sinus tracts.
