1. Patient diagnosed with Isolated Patellofemoral osteoarthritis
(Diagnostic criteria: Patient having anterior knee pain while getting up and walking upstairs, physical examination shows tenderness at the patellofemoral joint line, patellar grinding test positive. And Knee Lateral or patella skyline X-RAY/MRI consists of OA change of the Patellofemoral joint.
2. Persistent anterior knee pain with VAS more than 30/100mm despite the conservative treatment for 3 months.
3. Age 35-80 years.
4. Understandable, Co-operate with treatment and follow-up protocol.
1. Patients with moderate to severe tibiofemoral osteoarthritis. (defined as having the radiographic osteoarthritic change with Kellegren and Lawrence classification of grade 3 or 4 of the tibiofemoral joint.)
2. Patient with abnormal Knee Alignment and Knee deformities.
3. Patient with Knee and Patella Instability.
4. Patient with inflammatory joint disease eg. RA, Crystal induced arthritis.
5. Patient with Post Traumatic patellofemoral osteoarthritis.
6. Patient receiving HA or Corticosteroid injection or previous knee surgery for the past 6 months.
7. Patient allergic to HA or Corticosteroid.
