Inclusion Criteria

Critical patients; submitted to mechanical ventilation; no signs of hypertension or hypotension; normal electrocardiogram; show no signs of respiratory distress; clinical-laboratory tests within normal values.

Exclusion Criteria

Patient with signs of intracranial hypertension; inability to walk without assistance before acute illness in the ICU; pregnant women; obese; use of cardiac pacemaker; diagnoses of neurological, vascular, orthopedic and oncological pathologies.
