Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status classification II–III
- •2\. Elective off\-pump cardiac surgery
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. A patient refused to participate in the study
- •2\. Patient who have cognitive impairment (patients unable to assess verbal numeric pain scales)
- •3\. Patient who undergoing emergency or reoperation, minimally invasive procedures
- •4\. Patient with pre\-existing hypersensitivity or allergy to LA, severe dysfunction of a major organ (e.g., renal or hepatic failure), left ventricular ejection fraction less than 30%, mental disorders, pregnant or lactating patients, hematologic disorders, alcohol/drug abuse, and/or daily opioid use.
