Case group : Children with history of fever more than or equal to 38 degree celsius and history of convulsions within last 24 hours.
Control group 1 : Children with history of fever more than or equal to 38 degree celsius and no history of seizures in the present or in the past.
Control group 2 : Aferbile Children with normal nutritional status admitted for elective surgical intervention without any comorbidities.
Children on zinc supplementation, diarrhea,pneumonia,neurological deficits,developmental delay or cerebral palsy,chronic illness,documented intracranial infections,epilepsy or metabolic seizures.
