1. Subjects in age group of 35 to 44 years
2. Subjects having atleast one periodontal pockets
of 5mm or more
3. Subjects who will give consent to participate
1. Subjects on any antibiotic medications
2. Subjects who have undergone periodontal
treatment in the past six months
3. Subjects who will be unable to comply with the
study appointment schedules
4. Subjects who are known allergic to pineapple or
bromelain or chlorhexidine
• Subjects with a history of hypertension,
diabetes, immunosuppression, hepatic or renal
disease, bleeding disorders
• Pregnancy
• Lactating mothers
• Subjects on anticoagulant drugs
