Patients with diagnosis of post herpetic neuralgia with evident hyperalgesia and allodynia
Patients with post herpetic neuralgia should have pain for at least 12 weeks after the healing of rash
Patients with pain intensity more than or equal to 4/10
Positive cooperation of the patient
Patients with history of neurological interventions for PHN.
Evidence of other sources of chronic or acute pain that may confound the diagnosis
Patients with recent history of surgery or intake of Pregabalin in the last 4 weeks.
Patients with recent history of myocardial infarction, diabetes mellitus,pancreatitis and vasculitis
Patients with evidence of renal impairment or history of alcohol consumption.
Patients with cognition impairment or substance abuse disorder
