This study aims to evaluate how magneto-mechanical vibrations Matrix rhythm therapy can help people with knee osteoarthritis by improving pain, knee range of motion , postural stability, and functional mobility. Knee osteoarthritis is a common degenerative condition that causes pain and limits daily activities, and current physiotherapy treatments do not fully stop its progression.

Matrix rhythm therapy uses gentle vibrations 8–12 Hz combined with magnetic oscillations to stimulate muscle cells, improve tissue mobility and reduce stiffness. The study compares two groups:

Group A: Matrix rhythm therapy and conventional physiotherapy

Group B: Conventional physiotherapy alone

A total of 144 participants will be assessed over 6 weeks, using tools such as the Visual Analogue Scale for pain, goniometer for ROM, stabilometric platform for postural sway, and the Timed Up and Go test for mobility.

The study expects that both groups will improve, but Matrix rhythm therapy combined with physiotherapy will provide greater relief in pain, better knee movement, reduced postural sway and improved mobility compared to physiotherapy alone.

The results may introduce a new, effective physiotherapy method to enhance functional mobility in knee osteoarthritis patients.

  • Subjects clinically diagnosed to have Knee Osteoarthritis and willing to participate in the study.
  • Age group of 50 to 70 years.
  • Both male and Female subjects will be included in the study.

排除标准

  • Recent injury to the Knee.
  • Local Surgery
  • Skin lesions, inflamed or infected skin
  • Recent fractures
  • Heightened tendency toward bleeding/ clotting
  • Heightened risk of embolism
  • Heart pacemaker
  • Metabolic disorders.
