Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. All children from age 6 months to 6 years for elective unilateral inguinal herniotomy
- •2\. ASA Grade I and II
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Non consenting parents
- •2\. Coagulopathy
- •3\. Infection at site of puncture
- •4\. Congenital anomaly of spine
- •5\. Known allergy to drug used in study
- •6\. Clinically important cardiac, renal, hepatic or neurological complications
