Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Age more than or equal to 18 years.
  • Presence of atleast one periodontal intrabony defect that must involve an anterior or premolar tooth or mesial surface of molar tooth.
  • Defect must be associated with >5mm.
  • No prior history of any surgical procedures on the site to be treated.
  • Systemically healthy subjects.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Tooth is periodontically hopeless (i.e. mobility >2 or furcation >2)
  • Previous periodontal surgery within last 2 years in the area of interest.
  • Pregnant and lactating women
  • Habit of tobacco use (smoked and smokeless)
  • Systemic conditions which are contraindication for periodontal surgery.
