Our study showed that people with motor neuron disease suffer from shoulder pain significantly more than the general population, and that the use of a suprascapular nerve block can safely and effectively ameliorate that pain.

Symptomatic shoulder pain in patents with motor neuron disease
Exclusion Criteria
Allergy to corticosteroid or local anaesthetic

Name Time Method Pain measured using the pain scale of the SPADI (shoulder pain and disability questionnaire).[Baseline and 1, 6 and 12 weeks post enrolment ]
