- •Healthy volunteers aged between 60 to 90 years, scores on the Thai Geriatric Depression Scale (TGDS) between 13 to 24, no suicide risk evaluated by Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview part C (M.I.N.I.-Suicidality), no cognitive impairment evaluated by Thai Mental State Examination (TMSE)
排除标准
- •The study population consisted of elderly without any personal case history or presence of major depressive disorder, bipolar affective disorders, schizophrenia, cognitive impairment and severe illnesses (cardiac, hepatic or renal failure, cancer or other systemic diseases). Volunteers who were currently taking any kind of antidepressants were also excluded. All volunteers were not approached or practice Qigong or similar exercise such as Tai-Chi at least six months prior to the study.
