Inclusion Criteria
Patients of either sex age between 16 yrs to 65yrs
All elective non-obese (BMI < 30 kg/m²) elective cases. requiring tracheal intubation
ASA 1, 2 and 3 patients
Exclusion Criteria
Pregnant patients
Patients recognized to have difficult airways where an alternative method of intubation was method of choice
Patients undergoing emergency surgery
Patients requiring rapid sequence induction of anaesthesia
Modified Mallampati score 0, 3 and 4
