Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Age: 18 – 70 years
  • •\-Healed burn scars at least two years
  • •\-Caucasus skin type
  • •\-signed declaration of consent
  • •\-cooperative patient
  • •\-Possibility of anesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

  • •\- already performed operative medical needling
  • •\- Wound healing problems
  • •\- diabetes mellitus type I and II
  • •\- Taking cortisone preparations
  • •\- Pregnancy / lactation
  • •\- Active malignant diseases
  • •\- Severe internal medical conditions
  • •\- (cardiomyopathy, COPD, renal insufficiency, uncontrolled infections, heart failure NYHA III / IV)
  • •\- malignant disease affecting the burn scar
  • •\- radiotherapy of the affected skin area
