Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Age: 18 – 70 years
  • \-Healed burn scars at least two years
  • \-Caucasus skin type
  • \-signed declaration of consent
  • \-cooperative patient
  • \-Possibility of anesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

  • \- already performed operative medical needling
  • \- Wound healing problems
  • \- diabetes mellitus type I and II
  • \- Taking cortisone preparations
  • \- Pregnancy / lactation
  • \- Active malignant diseases
  • \- Severe internal medical conditions
  • \- (cardiomyopathy, COPD, renal insufficiency, uncontrolled infections, heart failure NYHA III / IV)
  • \- malignant disease affecting the burn scar
  • \- radiotherapy of the affected skin area
