Inclusion Criteria
Patients between the age of 18 to 60 years undergoing elective surgery and belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologists - Physical Status classification I/II
Exclusion Criteria
1) Patients requiring rapid sequence induction. ex full stomach patients,
patients with Gastroesophageal reflux disease.
2) Morbid obesity i.e. BMI â?? 30kg/m 2.
3) Anticipated difficult airway, such as difficult head tilt or mouth
4) Pregnancy

Name Time Method To evaluate tracheal intubation time with or without application of cricoid <br/ ><br>pressure <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 1 minute after Succinylcholine administration

To evaluate difficulty of laryngoscopy and passage of tube through the glottis <br/ ><br>on visual analogue scale <br/ ><br>Timepoint: during induction of anesthesia and 10 minutes after shifting the patient to Post anesthesia care unit
