Inclusion Criteria
1. Parturient
2. who are undergoing caesarean section under general anaesthesia
3. those who are requiring endotracheal tube insertion.
Exclusion Criteria
1.Obese gravida with BMI > 35kg/m2
2. Patients receiving labour analgesia
3.patients with preexisting airway abnormalities
4. MMP Grade IV at first assessment
5. patients in which oesophagus could not be visualized in the initial assessment
